In this past weekend at the 2025 Britannia Cup in Nottingham, Great Britain, the three USA junior synchronized skating teams dominated the competition, sweeping the podium with remarkable displays of skill, precision, and artistry. The Lexettes, Fond du Lac Blades, and Team Image all made their international debut this season, debuting in dazzling new costumes and inventive routines.
The Lexettes led the charge, finishing first in the short program and second in the free skate with a total of 187.29 points—securing their first-ever gold medal overseas with a commanding lead of more than 10 points. Fond du Lac Blades earned the silver medal, scoring a combined total of 176.99 points.
Team Image faced challenges during the short program, with three skaters falling during their pivot block. However, they rebounded strongly, posting their highest score of 122.41 points in the free skate. Although they made up significant ground and finished with a total of 175.33 points, they fell just 1.66 points shy of silver, earning the bronze medal.
This outstanding performance not only marked an impressive debut for the teams but also underscored the depth and talent of junior synchronized skating in the USA.
